OUR STOCK CONTRACTORS:

Flying Diamond Rodeo Company LLC
3725 Road F NE
Moses Lake, WA 98837

The Flying Diamond Rodeo Company is brand new, but its background has solid roots in the world of rodeo. In 2007 Tom & Leslie Lange of Greeley, Colorado purchased Frank Beards outfit, Beard Rodeo and along with managing partners/owners, Mike & Robin Corey of Moses Lake, Washington formed a new company with a bright future. The Langes, who are involved in the AQHA at top levels of horse, show competition, wanted to extend their love of livestock and set out on a new venture, the rodeo business. Their enthusiasm, vision, and quest for quality ensures an old company of going to new heights of excellence with Flying Diamond. The brand itself is the brand Frank Beard had for many years; now represents the growth of a new and dynamic rodeo company.

Flying Diamond is operating out of Moses Lake, where Mike and his wife Robin live. They also own and operate Corey & Horst Rodeo Co. The two companies are separate entities, operating out of the same location.

A respect and admiration for the animals is a common denominator in the company. Bringing bucking stock along and getting them to their full potential is key. The company strives for the best at all times. Quality animals, quality performances and quality people there to produce those performances are what Flying Diamond strives for.

Corey & Horst Rodeo Co., Inc.
3725 Road F NE
Moses Lake, WA 98837

The company itself is a fairly young one, started just eight years ago. Mike Corey of Moses Lake has been involved with rodeo for the past thirty plus years, first as a bull rider in his teens and twenties. It was then he began experimenting with bloodlines and breeding for bucking bulls-bloodlines that are still around today and strong foundation in the herd. Former World Champion Bucking Bull “Border Patrol”, raised by Brian Starky of British Columbia is a direct descendant of that effort made so many years ago. Those bloodlines have been key in getting the company up and rolling and giving it the successful jump start needed to compete at a top level today in the sport of Rodeo and Bull Riding.

Corey was a pick-up man while having his own amateur outfit for several years, as well as working for other PRCA Rodeo Company up to the point of he and his wife Robin started their own company in 1999, with financial partner George Horst.

Their bucking horses have gotten stronger and stronger. Quality animals are producing each year, and the company looks forward to the strength being added with every foal that hits the ground. Between the calves from their cowherd and the colts, the company can look forward to the years ahead as having a secure future and quality stock.

The company has enjoyed great success these past seven to eight years in the business. They have taken stock to both PBR World Finals and PRCA’s National Finals.

Dedication to the sport is probably the number one element and driving force behind the company. It goes beyond the business aspect—far beyond. When you work with living, breathing creatures, they become an extension of yourself; the desire to do well as a performer—to be the best—is intertwined between contractor and animal. They develop heart, and through good training and coaching, they become great…sometimes they become champions. Corey and his wife Robin look at every newborn on the place with the same vision. That vision is to be the very best that it can be, and to be part of the greatest sport there is…Rodeo.
