The 2010 Queen of “The Rough and Wild Fort Dalles Rodeo” is 24-year-old The Dalles native Robin Ann Sallee. On September 26th 2009 Robin was crowned queen winning the Horsemanship and Personality categories. The youngest daughter of Robert and Vicki Sallee; Robin grew up on the family’s cattle ranch with her three older siblings Ed, Chris and Tracee.

Growing up she was active in 4-H for nine years showing horses, sheep, pigs and dogs.  Robin was also involved in The Fort Dalles Junior Riders, including the club’s drill team.

Robin began her rodeo queen career in 2002 when she represented The Tygh Ridge Rodeo, and then in 2005 she was honored to win the title of Miss Northwest Professional Rodeo Association.

Robin’s education goals are to pursue a degree as a Medical Transcriptionist and a Physical Therapist Assistant.  She is employed full time at Cousin’s Restaurant in The Dalles. When she’s not working; Robin enjoys anything outdoors like riding horses or 4 wheelers, hunting or fishing. Photography and spending time with family and friends completes her time these days.
